The fourth of July is one month away, but fireworks have been flaring for sometimeBy Chazwald, Section News
(A short and sweet post today)
The final countdown? Republicans have had their nomination, Senator John McCain for sometime now, but as for democrats, the cat fight pushes on to determine their nominee to the end. Hot off the press, the AP today has reported that Senatory Hillary Clinton will concede to B. Hussein Obama tonight, acknowledging that Obama has the delegated needed to clinch the nomination. However, Fox News is reporting that the Clinton Campaign Chairman has released a statement declaring that the AP story is "absolutely" incorrect and exclaiming that Hillary is "definitely not" conceding.
Many democrats and Clinton supporters are furious at the notion of Obama grasping the party nomination, leaving to ruin the chance of the first woman president.
With the DNC compromising, Hillary in essence lost more ground when delegates were awarded to Michigan and Florida; only half of which she was counting on. Now tonight, Montana and South Dakota will be watched with great intensity as the vote is brought to an end and the count trickles in. Even though, Senator Obama is in the lead with the delegate count, South Dakota does have a chance to make or break the DNC party nomination or at least help to reignite the Senatorial battle for the Presidency. One can only hope Operation Chaos makes an impact tonight and that the fight finds its way to the DNC convention floor. Chaz Oswald
