Dan Granholm's radio show has been all but cancelled.

Lansing insider publication GONGWER is reporting that the First Gentleman's radio show on Lansing radio station WJIM is being axed from afternoon drive time and moved to early Saturday morning.

His groovy (though universally ineffective, were one to assume his wife listens to him) advice about leadership will no longer be heard Monday through Friday at 5pm.  If you're feeling the need to be Mulhernized you'll have to start tuning in at 7am on Saturday mornings.

For those who don't listen to much radio, that's the time on the broadcast schedule when stations give away community service advertisements for free or broadcast radio infomercials because no one is listening.

But on the downside, staffers, bureaucrats and elected officials will now have to find another source of unintentional hilarity to provide a break from the stress of the day as they hit 496 to get the heck out of town for the night.

"Everyday Leadership (Mulhern's book) is a treasure chest of engaging stories, practical tips, and rich insights into how we each can make a difference in the world when we take responsibility for the personal power that we have. . . . once you've taken Everyday Leadership to heart you'll leave this world a little bit better than you found it."
--Jim Kouzes, coauthor of The Leadership Challenge

Ooooh! A treasure chest. It probably smells like potpourri.
