Because in sports, unlike Michigan Democratic party politics, results actually matter and consistent losing without a sniff of a win actually costs you your job.

The man just got into the wrong business is all.  But no worries... his shovel is sharp and his will is outstanding.

All kidding aside, seemed like a good guy.  Sure he'll make someone a heck of a position coach / coordinator last year.  Now if we could just do something about ownership...
