I can tell you that the Democratic Party, the young democrats and the college democrats have built vibrant movements, as a blogger in those communities, albeit advocating for such people as John McCain, Pete Hoekstra, Jack Hoogendyk, I have seen first hand a technologically developed efficient social movement of people.

Certainly I embrace our core values, ethics, families, children, fathers, hard work, less government, personal responsibility and the freedom to exercise it...somebody had to walk on the dark side to spread our word, I am one who did that, there were a couple of others, Democratic covert operatives were in place in 2006.

As we re-examine our core values, may I humbly assert, we can not be content with a biennial coming together of like minds, we face a social movement and it takes a social movement to counter act it.

The future ahead of us, walks behind us (our children - whether they are four or eight or eighteen, twenty-eight or thirty eight). Our Michigan College Republicans should be dynamic, supported by our State Party, summer programs for those pursuing baccalaureate degrees or in high school need to be energized, we can not afford to recruit young people from another state for campaign work to offset our failure to build our movement.

Jack Hoogendyk, understands our core values, our families, fathers and our children. Jack Hoogendyk is a community leader for the entire state of Michigan. Jack Hoogendyk, together with each of us can build vibrancy, within our MI GOP, that we have not seen since Gerald R. Ford delivered addresses at Calvin College. If we choose to succeed we will need to work with Jack Hoogendyk.
