Colin Powell sold the war in a clever way to the U.N. Many took note of this at the time. <a href="http://www.commondreams.org/views05/1130-29.htm">Even some in the MSM.</a> Powell was very misleading in many aspects when he framed the war around WMD so exclusively. This alone (and other things) was in opposition to the administration and how it was presented to the public. Was Powell's speech muzzled or did he utilize his freedom of speech and say/not say certain things? It didn't line up with what the administration was talking about at that time. It didn't line up at the time and many wondered about it. It seemed that a rift grew ever wider after this Powell selling. Wonder no more? Colin Powell sold the war short. Clever indeed.
