Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Niece Tells Michigan Audience Abortion is NOT a Civil Right

A relatively little-known fact is that Dr. Alveda C. King, a niece of civil rights pioneer Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., is also an outspoken activist - an outspoken pro-life activist!

This past Friday, September 14, 2007, Dr. King was in Michigan.  First, she spent the afternoon in Ann Arbor, on the campus of the University of Michigan, speaking about her experience with the pro-life movement and about how it is important to recognize that abortion on demand has had a particularly negative impact on the African-American community.  Her talk was sponsored by the U of M Students for Life group.

On Friday evening, Dr. King served as the keynote speaker at the annual Monroe County Right to Life fundraising dinner, at which she said, "It's not a civil right to kill a person, even the unborn."  Dr. King was accompanied at the dinner by Michigan's own Dr. Levon Yuille, the director of the National Black Pro-Life Congress who is also the pastor of The Bible Church in Ypsilanti.

The Monroe News subsequently ran an exceptionally positive story about Dr. King's appearance, which you can view here:  http://www.monroenews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070915/NEWS01/109150031

According to the Monroe News, Dr. King told the Monroe gathering of pro-lifers that she had initially bought into the lies of the pro-choice movement, having had two abortions that left her miserable and scarred emotionally.  After a spiritual awakening, Dr. King dedicated her life to living her Christian faith and to speaking out against the Culture of Death.

Dr. King has been a passionate pro-life activist now for many years and is currently a Pastoral Associate with Priests for Life, even though she is not a Roman Catholic herself.  In addition to familial ties to her famous uncle, Dr. King is also the daughter of another slain civil rights leader, Rev. A.D. King.  And, Dr. Alveda King has a particular connection with Michigan, having received a Masters of Arts degree in Business Management from Central Michigan University.

A particularly striking quote from Dr. King's Monroe County RTL remarks was this:

"We need to stop the lies of Planned Parenthood."

    Indeed.

Planned Parenthood - really a satanic organization masquerading as a legitimate health care supplier - is the number one provider of abortions throughout the United States.  And it has specifically targeted the African-American community for decades.

Planned Parenthood was the brainchild of the billionaire eugenicist Margaret Sanger, a well-documented white supremacist and Nazi sympathizer, who once said:

"More children from the fit, less from the unfit -- that is the chief aim of birth control."

Sanger had a particular dislike for African Americans:

"We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population," she said, "if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members."

For a good expose on this Handmaiden of Satan, see: http://www.blackgenocide.org/sanger.html

In plain terms, the woman was a sick-o, but that has not stopped the "modern-day" Planned Parenthood from embracing her legacy.

Incredibly, kool-aid drinking feminists lionize her, e.g. see Gloria Steinem's glowing piece praising Sanger as one of the 20th century's greatest champions of reproductive rights: http://www.time.com/time/time100/leaders/profile/sanger.html

Yet, even more glaring is the fact that Planned Parenthood continues to give out an annual award in Margaret Sanger's name!

Of course, the lies of Planned Parenthood, as Dr. Alveda King so ably pointed out, are ever present.  The public face that Planned Parenthood wants to show, on the surface, seems amenable.

Take, for example, Planned Parenthood's public relations piece, published on its website in February 2006, entitled, "Planned Parenthood Federation of America Honors Black History Month."  In this puff piece, a "reporter" for Choice! Magazine conducts an interview with the "chair" of Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA), Esperanza Garcia Walters.  See: http://www.plannedparenthood.org/news-articles-press/politics-policy-issues/public-affairs/black-his tory-6232.htm

Ms. Walters describes "the intersection of civil and reproductive rights and a future of diversity at PPFA."

Yeah.  But scratch a little deeper and those in the know about Planned Parenthood's true history will shudder because of this comment by Ms. Walters:

"When I think about Black History Month, I think, it's our history. If it were not for [African Americans], I wonder where we would be."

Exactly.  Where would Planned Parenthood be without exploiting African Americans for decades?

Since abortion on demand was legalized throughout the U.S. in 1973, 17 million African-American babies have been murdered by abortionists.

Abortion on demand has turned Planned Parenthood into a money-making murderous machine in which this supposedly "non-profit" entity continues to turn record profits at every level of its organization year after year.

Like Sanger in decades past, the modern-day Planned Parenthood does not want the word to get out about its true and undeniable agenda - and proven record - of exterminating African Americans, which has been through systematic murder in the womb since 1973.

As Dr. Alveda King reminded Michigan pro-lifers last week, "We need to stop the lies of Planned Parenthood."

I clicked on the link about Margret Sanger, and even read all five pages.  I knew about her eugenics views and stuff, but had no idea how far gone she was.
