Nice of you to check back in... we appreciate it.

You couldn't be more right about this junket. Why isn't the governor traveling around the United States? Around the midwest? Around Michigan?

Why waste all the extra money flying over for a nice vacation in Sweden?

Heck, after this trip she'll have been to Germany more times than she's been to Menominee.

I said this in the spring when she was in Germany and I'll say it again now. The only thing that these trips will EVER be are carefully planned media events that make Granholm look like she actually know what she's doing.

When she goes to Japan and Germany and "brings jobs back" to Michigan, it is often not reported that the jobs Granholm is "bringing back" are the result of expansions from companies that were already located in Michigan. That being the case, why does she need to travel half-way around the world to secure those types of investments.

It's all about looking "cool" with Granholm. That's why she continues to travel, as unnecessary as ALL of these trips are.
