I wonder if Al Franken will revise his left-wing diatribe against the right. Looks like the Dems are committing the same sins that he accuses the right of committing.
Democrats swept the last election by focusing on Republican scandal after scandal in DC, including the infamous "Bridge to Nowhere" earmark. Now, in this Congress, the Dems have figured out a way to circumvent their own "rules" and avoid any debate on some 36,000 earmarks. That's right, my friends. Thirty-six thousand earmarks. It is no wonder Congress has such a low approval rating.
So much for the new transparency the Dems promised they'd bring to the appropriations process...
