Today Michigan Republicans unveiled their newest reminder to Michigan citizens that they just got fleeced by Democrats in Lansing by the largest tax hike in Michigan history. On average, the state will be raking in $39 every second this fiscal year as a result of the income tax hike and business surcharge increases. What can $39 buy?

A 13 gallon tank of gas.

A half-weeks worth of groceries for a married couple.

Two-weeks worth of car insurance for the average Michigan driver.

A weeks worth of energy used by the average American family.

A trip to the movies for a family of four.

All of this while Michigan has the highest unemployment in the nation and still bleeding people and jobs. If you think it's time for a change, than it's probably time to vote Republican.
