It seems the recall fight has begun in earnest. The AP via MLive is reporting that the petition for the recall of Steve Bieda (D-Warren) has been given two thumbs down by a Macomb County election panel. They don't think the language is clear.

The article implies it was a three-member panel, as one Republican voted for the petition language as submitted. Leon is going to fight this, but I've no doubt partisan tactics will be implemented in other districts. This is just the opening salvo, one sure to be repeated!
