When a politician does it, "professional courtesy" is always invoked, and they go on their way.

But when the media gets wind of it... cry "racism" and then wait for the spotlight to fade.

I disappointed, but not surprised in the reaction of other elected officials. They are still clinging to the tried and true playbook that ran Detroit into ruin.
