Since AFP is evidently 'the model' for free speech and assembly organization/lobbying due to their irrefutable actions during and after the Right To Work rallies in Lansing last December...what would 'your' organization demand from legislators after being confronted with the following?:
Being physically assaulted/pushed off the steps in full view of Capital police?
Unanswered 911 calls regarding same?
School children present in our Capital while it is being effectively taken over by activists? (who were later pepper sprayed)
Over 26,000 school children denied an education due to the fact that their teachers were conducting an illegal strike right next to you?
Activists jumping up and down on a centuries old glass rotunda floor and pounding on even older railings?
15 foot, six inch diameter metal tent poles falling all around you?
Knives slashing above your head as you lay on the ground while being assaulted verbally by those crawling to 'get at you' ?
Flammable material being stored/spilled on the Capital steps...with nowhere to run?
...or would you approach it the "AFP way"...and simply do nothing...concerned that any action in defense of the mere anonymous political pawns USED that week...did not necessarily rise to the importance level of "the relationship" you have been attempting to maintain and foster with legislative leaders just as silent?
Is standing up for the freedom of assembly or speech and making the Capital continually safe for both necessarily 'worth' ruining a long running cozy relationship with your lobbied lunch partner?
Evidently not.
