      When I have to pay more money to the government than I otherwise had to pay before the decision was made, it's a tax increase. Period. More money goes to government from people. That's an increase. When government spends more money in raw dollars than they otherwise did, it's a spending increase. It's not a cut if it is a smaller increase than planned. It's not a cut if it is lower than inflation. It's an increase. Period end of story.

      Besides all of that, government has not earned the money. They piss away the trillions they have. State and local do more positive work and outside of the progressive havens like Detroit (and the exception of Defense), they do a much better job than the feds with a fraction of the money.
