I don't think he knew what was going on with his campaign, but as a person in management at my work, I can tell you that when you don't watch your employees, everything goes to hell.  He owes the people of Michigan thousands of dollars for a bogus special election.  The least he could've done was to stay in Congress long enough to avoid a special election.  I don't care what kind  of stress it put on him and his family - his stupidity and laziness brought that on himself.  He should be ashamed of himself and his whole staff should be ashamed of him.  Every. Single. Staffer.
