      However, parents raising children with mixed messages does a lot of damage.

      From March 7, 2012

      "I'm not saying it's the right thing to do," Euline Clayton said of her daughter's use of food stamps. "But it's nobody's business if she's not breaking the law."

      The values that Euline instilled really failed her daughter.  Perhaps, getting a second chance with raising the grandchildren she'll get it right.  Or not.
