Conversely, solving the problem correctly, in a way that keeps it solved, isn't going to happen overnight either.  Much like the African adage about eating an elephant (one bite at a time), we need to pick a useful starting point, start there, and then build upon that success until eventually the whole of progressive-socialism is entirely consigned to the ash heap of history.
