Rich Republicans you often can't pick out in a crowd. Often they are the folks at a GOP meeting in jeans and a T-shirt driving a pickup. They often didn't grow up rich, started a business or made smart decisions, and don't forget where they come from. They also most importantly, do not want to run my life or think they know what is best for me. They aren't elitist, although don't care much for fools.

But allow me to expand...

Is it hypocrisy to raise millions at these sorts of events when it realistically takes hundreds of millions of dollars to make a legitimate run?  I don't think so necessarily, if you need the money you gotta get the money.  Yet, isn't it big government Barack Obama who is currently cloaking his ineptitude under a full-body veneer of hatred toward the 1 percent?  $40 Gs a plate?  That smells a bit like some one percenter territory.

The part I object to most is the cynicism behind his populist one percenter attacks.  It is totally inauthentic as he is being bankrolled by the same fatcats who love them some fascism as long as they come out the winners.  And Barack Obama, as his record has clearly shown, is a masterful payback artist when it comes to cronyism.  Does he have a single bundler who hasn't gotten rich off of government largess?

But in the larger story, I don't have a horse in this race.  While I will not vote for Obama, I may not vote for Romney either.  My vote, heretofore, will never be taken for granted again.
