...after I was on the road.
"Governor's New Recommended Budget - get your questions answered!
Michigan's hard work and shared sacrifices are paying off. The fiscal discipline and major policy reforms enacted last year are now allowing us to make more thoughtful, strategic and long-term investments in our state that will benefit current and future generations. But we have more to accomplish.
This Thursday, I will join Gov. Rick Snyder and State Budget Director John Nixon in presenting our proposed Fiscal Year 2013 State Budget. Our insistence on accountability to you -- the taxpayer -- will not waiver.
The budget will highlight priority areas such as education, health and human services, public safety, and infrastructure that includes our roads and bridges. You can watch the presentation live from Lansing by clicking here at 11 AM EST on Thursday."
WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! WHOOOOOOOOOA!
Since when was education a "priority"?
Will be see the level of assets an institution is sitting on part of the metric for funding?
$7.8-billion is an awful lot of money that Ms. Coleman is sitting on.
Ditto for "health and human services"?
Why is there more concern for those on the government trough, instead of those coerced into "investing" (go to 19:30) in it?
What I glanced through in the link disgusted me.
Can anyone tell me just what is so hard about sticking to what is contained in here?
