    As much as I want to pull something positive out of this, it is frustrating to see that no matter how well a candidate does in West MI, two counties put the election in Mitro Man's Hands.  Wayne and Oakland counties have determined the last several state-wide elections (from my recollection).  No matter how well a candidate does in West MI, even with the larger conservative counties (Ottowa and Kent) we cannot overcome the results from a heavy non-conservative result in Wayne and Oakland.  Our candidates and their supporters have to work those counties hard to at least balance the outcome.  I was happy to see Muskegon went for Santorum with a good margin.  And he only spent 2 hours here!
