actually - those who were "running" [into the ground] the Highland Park school system are no longer in charge of the education of any kids.

What we are seeing is basically how a school district wind-down occurs (due to mismanagement and incompetence). no bailout.

Since we still (as required by the state constitution) must provide for the kids' education, we give that responsibility to another entity (or entities - the money will follow the kids)...and Highland Park Schools....has zero kids...and zero money...no longer able to continue their mismanagement of taxpayer monies.
