Channel-surfing through the talking heads this am has left me even more confused about what happened since last night.

Looking at the actual results, at least here at home, even moreso.

Candidates in "safe seats" won re-election, yet tax hikes (mostly) went down in flames.

The proposal numbers locally were a discombobulated mess.

A little further out, Bentivolio won, while Daniels lost to the Troy political/spin machine.

And, I've yet to find a good breakdown of the numbers on the Presidential Race.

It's a safe bet that the People Republic of Detroit had a huge hand in Michigan's numbers.

Hopefully, they will also like dealing with a bankruptcy judge after Prop 1 went down yesterday.
