I expect 6 to pass easily.  It will do so bi-partisan, and for the reasons expressed both here and at the link you provided.

Prop 6 is pretty straightforward. The guv needs a leash, make that a VERY short leash, to keep him from going rogue with the state's checkbook. No arguments to be found against against that here.

As for Prop 5, Tea Party Members who are against making raising taxes much harder, makes about as much sense as Christians against Christ.
