    . . . that's it's the blanket mindset that special interest groups are trying to buy a piece of the state's constitution, so "Yes on 1, no on everything else" is the knee-jerk response.

    When I try to explain to them that Proposal 12-5 is a perfectly legitimate use of the amendment process, and that Proposal 12-6 is necessitated by the Governerd's intransigence regarding the separation of powers, I often receive the response that both proposals are bought and paid for my Matty Moroun, thus another special interest power grab.

    Granted, it's not everybody that I talk to, but enough tea partiers that I'm left shaking my head.
