Rep. Bledsoe's words were taken way out of context. This idea being floated that parent's hands are tied as far as 'getting their kids the best education' is ridiculous. By that logic, I should be able to knock on the door of Greenhills School where the Governor sends his child, to the tune of 19K per year, and not pay anything. Why shouldn't I? Aren't I entitled to that? Aren't we all? No. Mr. Bledsoe , again, taken out of context and being disparaged here, because the MCPP strongly endorses forced school of choice."

The Mackinac Center might want to be a little more careful with the imagery they use to support this scheme.

If this ever does go through, the race-baiters who infest Detroit will use The Mackinac Center's own argument (including 'Shopping Mr. Lehman or even Rep McMillin's face in place of Wallace's) like a club for additional goodies like free food, free busing and anything else they can think of at that time.

Just watch.

BTW, what's their take on that $327-million bailout of DPS?
