Granted, Gov. Granholm didn't venture out into the unwashed masses very much herself, and even when she did, it was ALWAYS in very carefully controlled settings.

I'll also give you that CEO's don't give a rat's behind about how people feel (my personal experience from being in those working environments: that company didn't stay in business very long).

But for someone who claims to be for the turning Michigan around and doing things differently, I'm watching someone who spends an unusual amount of time shielded from the public eye.
