I know that we don't often think of it this way, but the 58% to 42% vote to approve MCRI as an amendment to the Michigan Constitution was also a vote to permanently end segregation in Michigan.  It seems that the socialist-progressive-liberals are quite content to use any means necesary to preserve racial segregation in America.

Apparently, elections only have consequences when the socialist-progressive-liberals win; otherwise, the results can always be undone by court action.  I agree with Jennifer Gratz's assessment that this ruling was timed specifically to attract minimal press attention.

From what I can see, this decision has "reverse me" written all over it.  Major kudos to A.G. Schuette for acting in a way that keeps MCRI in place while the appeal plays out.
