For the most part, it makes a Democrat seat nearly impossible, except for one area occupied by a Republican who is well loved by the strong Democrat constituency.  THAT commissioner is as hard a worker as any on the board.

My own district was shifted, placing me in opposition to the chair as our districts were blended.  Frankly, I hadn't originally thought of running for the newly formed district, but some continuing irresponsible editorializing is drawing me in.  

I must now prove them wrong.
