"A post on his facebook page today:
"Why should a family of four with an income of $50,000 have to pay state income taxes, while a retired couple with an income of $65,000 does not?""
You hit the nail right on the head, Jason.
EXACTLY how many times should people pay taxes on the same money?
I've had fun using that argument on people who a.) Claimed that they voted for Snyder and b.) Support his proposal to <strike>double-tap</strike> double-tax Michigan Taxpayers.
They had no problem using Snyder's argument against a senior slowly shuffling about on a walker.
They shut up PDQ, when I walked over and they tried to use it against me.
I can't help but be reminded of the warning made by Pastor Niemöller, especially after Gov. Snyder's budget tanks due to his inability to addressing Lansing spending problem.
What new tax (taxes?) will the MI-GOP blithely support just because the person pushing for it has a "-r" after their name?
