    Raise the sales tax like Tennessee did, and just ditch the income tax altogether.

    Don't jack it up as high as the MI-Fair Tax Crowd wants and then claim that the "prebate" entitlement will offset things. Michigan needs less bureaucrats, not more.

    9.75% is ridiculously high. 7% is a good place to start.
