One COULD look at the changes being presented as solving problems brought about by particular demographic..  those ABOUT to retire.

The elimination of the EIC assistance is an interesting thing. I am not sure about any of you, but there have been times I have considered it to be "magic money" because it can cause some refunds to be larger than the total money paid in for taxes and SS BEFORE.  Seeing as an elimination here confused me, because I always thought of it as a federal thing.

The corporate tax and elimination of the MBT is really a big positive of the plan.  Simplification and elimination of a number of small value add and manufacturing businesses from the burdensome MBT will literally allow more employment.  I know this to be fact, as I saw jobs go away because of its implementation.
