Now, for the commie anti-weapon message crap going on in Michigan's schools?  I'm right there with you, it is enough.  On the state level look at who has been running the MEA show for the past decade and btw, elected president again.  A Brookings Institute parasite from LibTarded U of M Ann Arbor, and on the federal level there's Mr. Fisty calling the educational Czar shots.  It's a regular one-two wussification combo punch.  Why today's parents are putting up with it is beyond my comprehension.  Perhaps it's just them not knowing any different.  Think about it, in a few short years from now, new parents are the products of assclowns like John C. Austin who's been contaminating the educational pool with his progressive bullsh!t in this state since 2000.  Fuggin' frightening.

As for nostalgia, back when I was in grade school did I really care about someone with a knife in school?  Hell no.  But, that's a different time from now and things have changed dramatically.  Look, I grew up on a horse farm out in the sticks of Green Oaks Twp. and everyone had a Tennessee Toothpick on them.  I also had my first gun when I turned 8 along with my very own tractor, a Farmall A that my pops and I picked out at an auction in Archbold, Ohio.  On top of that, I was operating a dragline along with my dad 'cause he decided the house overlooking a 3.5 acre pond would be special.  Bottom line, I had a very different upbringing than most children that were my peers and my true contemporary's even at that age were folks in their late 30's and older.

Now, fast-forward to today's children growing up with many in single parent households and babysat on Xbox 360's and Wii's?  My upbringing or most upbrinings of 40+ years ago is of no comparison whatsoever.  What Mom didn't catch, dad did and frankly because of all the adult world surroundings of responsibility and consequences for ones actions at such a young age I prolly had solid a leg up in the world.
