      My point was that when Republicans vote on something, they should not choose their votes either in favor of the "Republican agenda" or in opposition to  the "Democratic agenda".  They should be voting based on the substance of the agenda, not whose party it comes from.  And those principles should form the party.

      The GOP should be conservative because we are made of conservative members, not because we oppose liberal legislation simply because its sponsored by the Democrats.

      But I'm also willing to have moderates represent the GOP if they are going to vote conservative 53% of the time as Castle has.  I would rather have somebody with a 53% good voting record than a 10% voting record.
