    . . . of the day's events.  It was a long day, but we circumvented the credentials wait by getting there early.  There are many common sense changes that could be made to make this convention run smoother.  For example, send the credentials to the county parties to distribute.  How about getting speakers and party officials who have some clue about using a microphone?  Distribute maps or lists of where the districts are seated and where they vote.  Etc.

    In a year when we should be sailing, I find the lack of communication from -- and the sheer administrative incompetence of -- my county (Macomb) officials to be shocking, matched only by their lousy attitudes if you say anything about it.
