      Can you cite the specific locations of the laws you described?

      For example, in the People v. Givhan case, you state that:

      Michigan law provides that "A presumption of vindictiveness arises when a defendant is resentenced by the same judge and the second sentence imposed is longer than the first."

      I tried finding that law in the MCL, but with no success. I then tried seeing if it was a rule in the MCR - same thing.

      Not saying you're wrong, but as a general rule, if I'm going to say that something is law, I like to cite where it's located.
