Here's your problem, you don't believe a word Jason says, and with good reason.  He uses catchphrases, is very vague, acts as though he will always save the day for whomever he "serves."

When a person says overhaul, it means, change it.

When a person says defund it means kill it.

Second, Jenkuz, also for clarification of intent, are you a paid member of Dr. Dan's Campaign? If so, who else on these blogs is on his payroll???

My reason for thinking Dr. Dan is not qualified for this office is...Dr. Dan came to Munising for our monthly Alger County Republican meet and greet meeting, he was totally unprepared to answer any question that was asked of him.  He couldn't and didn't give one answer.  I decided then and there, just wanting a political post isn't enough.  The Candidate MUST know the answers to the voters questions.  The Candidate doesn't have to agree with me on all issues... but s/he must know what the questions mean.
