    The Republican party was once a start-up party as well. It was just one among many. By the time the party was four years old it had won majorities both at the national and state level as well as winning the Presidency. So I guess what I am being told that what was once possible by our ancestors is impossible today. Now is that because we don't have the will or because we just don't have the brains? Something is strange here. As a student of American history I know of the turbulent era prior to the Civil War. I see many similarities between today and that period. Never say that another party isn't the answer. I guess we haven't been slapped around enough or kicked enough as yet to get the idea that Republicans, the Blue Blood elites, Country Club types and Rockefeller Republicans just don't have any use for us and are embarrassed that we are in "their" party to begin with. They hate Conservatives and really wish we would go away. I can take a hint. Guess it will take a bit longer for others to catch on.
