The intellectual elitists of the mainstream media want Bush's name associated with the core topic of this debate; because in doing so it evokes the image of putting an end to something that protects only the wealthiest 10% of the American population.  However, associating Obama's name with the core topic of this debate evokes the image of opposing something that will screw everyone if it's enacted.  The only reason that the truth of what's going on here isn't out in the public discourse is because -- yet again -- we've allowed the liberal elites to set the terms of the debate.

We really need to quit doing that.
