What would be the point unless it helps them fight something that hurts their bottom line?  If their customers are suffering, THEY suffer.

OF COURSE THEY ARE/WERE AGAINST THE SMOKING LAW!

One would think that if restaurants and bars were doing good with the law, it wouldn't matter to them.  You can close your eyes and pretend things ain't as they is.
