And the cronyism amongst the players here is another disgusting aspect of the whole story.  I love capitalism and the freedom to make a living but when a group of people (almost always lawyers) collude with insiders to take down a company - that is not capitalism.  It is manipulation and corruption at it's worst.

It saddens me that this shit has found it's way to Northern Michigan and the small communities where mom and pop's eek out a year round living on a seasonal job.  Been there and done that.  It isn't easy but it is rewarding to meet so many people exploring the great wonderland that northern Michigan has to offer.  The leeches are destroying that way of life.  

I will never bring another out of state friend or relative to Mackinac Island or the city again if this crap happens.  And I will never again set foot anywhere near the place.  Spending many weekends in the Burt Lake area, we often wander up for a meal (Keyhole Bar and Grill), shopping, or just a glorious drive across the Big Mac.
