You misjudge the mood of northern Michigan voters friend, as has Benishek...visit the UP's 'West End' and ask about either party there...I promise you an earful, and not a kind one...and your 8% figure is a product of someone's media imagination, as no poll in the District published anywhere has consisted of a sampling of over 6oo 'likely voters', from 'selected' areas...it isn't the reading we're getting from our own polls...from the entire District..

The talking heads predict anywhere from a 50 to 100 seat pick up in the House; therefore, the outcome of this one race is academic in it's effect on Congress as pertains to strategic importance...it's importance lies in it's effect on the people of northern Michigan realizing that one person does make a difference, if you have the courage to stand 'outside the box'...
