Things will go back and forth for the next several weeks with nothing to report.

When things get down to the wire, Granholm, Dillon and their acolytes will throw a handful of tax hikes on the table after they were swayed by the protests from the looters last week.

Mike Bishop will develop another acute case of W.U.S.S. (weak upper spine syndrome) and allow a vote on tax increases in his chamber.

We will get excuses that it was the "right" thing to do. There were no other alternatives. Or my personal fav: we got some serious concessions out of the deal.

And as for finding a new mechanic, there may be hope in that area.

Granted, it's a long-shot.
