    Raise the curtain.

Why do you think it is called straw? (none / 0) (#3)

If we remain (become) educated by doing legitimate research on ALL the candidates and work responsibly for those we align ourselves with, the rest is in the hands of the voting public.

Do not begin to legitimize shenanigans of this ilk.  That they can do these in no way means it has gravitas, it merely means that any given candidate has more dollars than sense.    I we as a voting public (also) buy into this, well, shame on us for squandering a vote.

Side bar:  Rather disappointing show from  the younger voting block,  It speak volumes for Mr. Snyder and those that follow his campaign...

"Snyder bought it, but he took advantage of the system." This is exactly the point of Midland's post! And it's a very offending example of what's wrong with our politicians! It's also offenses as regards our oh-so-well-funded-so-called-educational-system. Sad!!!

"...and the candidates all know..." Still sad! This Snyder move can/should be used in the future to example his fantastical willingness to work the system, work public opinion, in a purely mob rule, popular opinion kind of way. No wonder this type is so happy to throw money and indoctrination into the public school system rather then KISS and just teach literacy, mathematics, science, and history: By the time our children are 'adults' we see how the 'system' has miserably failed, despite all the funding. These literacy and math areas show up as glaring deficiencies in all the adult education programs. Yet, they continue to use the education system as a tool for indoctrination while deriding the old fashioned reading, writing, and arithmetic.

It would save money if the basics were covered properly in primary/secondary education, so many wouldn't have to catch up when entering college/university/work force. 'They' just prove again what is actually important to 'them'.

But I know what you mean, RM, and I'm just being pissy  due....my above rant.
