      is not allowed by our state constitution.

      Article 2, Section 8 of the constitution states that: "...any statement of reasons or grounds procedurally required (for a recall) shall be a political rather than a judicial question." (emphasis mine)

      This section has been interpreted to mean that if an elected official has committed a serious crime, the remedy is a trial and prison.

      Recalls are the citizenry's remedy for the political, NOT criminal, actions of an elected official.
