      that doesn't mean I don't have questions. Since you've confessed to encouraging them, I'll start with a few.

      ;) I resent be called a "taxpayer." Will Fair Tax try to avoid this?

      Is the (extremely high) sales tax due to the need to support existing programs? I assume this is the case which is problematic as so many should not exist.

      Also, how would this impact the state?  Would 'states' pay it also?

      The founding fathers knew that we could be brought down from within. I don't see anything to keep this from happening with sales tax, and from such a high starting point! Yes, I know the loopholes have been reduced. What would protect the sales tax from future (same or new opportunists) exploitation?
