    I know one thing: if Rick Snyder is the 2010 Republican gubernatorial nominee, then the Michigan GOP should prepare for a third-party run by a true fiscal AND social conservative candidate.   I don't want to see that happen, though.  But basically Rick Snyder is trying to buy himself the nomination so that he can check off another box on his "bucket list."

    In all the years that I have been active within Michigan's pro-life movement, I've never seen Snyder at any pro-life functions, rallies, or other events.  This Free Press article confirms for me what I've known all along: this guy is not a true believer in the pro-life cause.  Sure, he'll claim to want to reduce abortions - just like Obama - but he won't lift a finger to help those of us on the front-lines fighting the abortion battles right here in Michigan.  

    While "Snyder said he believes he can win over voters of every stripe as the only nonpolitician in the race," he hasn't won over this pro-life primary voter - not by a long shot.  Snyder is not pro-life and therefore he isn't getting my vote.
