. . . Nick.
Right now, I've got credible information from a credible source that Mike Nofs may be a bad idea. But I'll walk the talk here. You give me good, substantiable reason to believe that I'll agree with Nofs at least 80% of the time (not one-tenth of a point less), and I'll consider actively backing the guy.
Mind you, I have absolutely no intention of supporting (actively or otherwise) any Demo-rat in this contest . . . unless he can clear the 80% hurdle (which I don't expect will be happening).
You and I have talked face-to-face on many political topics. You have a good working idea what my key issues are, where I stand on them, and why that's so. (Not limited to MFTP, by the way.) That Up From The Abyss article that I linked to has several of my other posts linked "above the fold." (Some of my better work, if I do say so myself.) That's just in case you need a refresher.
Right now, as we debate this, Independence Caucus and New Patriot Revolution are scouring the 19th District for a candidate who can both effectively "primary" Nofs and trounce Griffin in the general. And I'll bet a year's pay against a doughnut hole that they'll find him, too. And I'll double-or-nothing that whomever they find is someone that will do the job much better than Nofs and Griffin . . . combined.
