I see this same lack of quality with everything from tools, household items, to even work boots.
Alot of time you get what you pay for. You want a pair of workboots that fall apart in a month, buy the Wal-Mart import. You want something that lasts, you got spend a little more but it seems to pay off, in the long run, when you chose the Quality Craftmanship.

 I'm not saying, everything imported is junk, for example, if your into guns, there are masterpieces of art, from Germany, Italy, some of the old English double rifles, with the gold inlays of hunting scenes etched in the metal.
