    ... serious wierdness taking over.
    However, I should make the point that I am quite a conservative right-winger and I don't like waterboarding either.  It's part of the overall torture/"enemy combatants" issue that's proving to be like a software virus in conservative thinking -- it introduces all sorts of incoherent contradictions that cripple our entire philosophical OS.  If it's not torture, then why not allow it as a standard interrogation technique at police stations across America?  What's the problem?
    Further, we as conservatives refuse to admit that the idea of an "enemy combatant" who is not a POW, and not a criminal prisoner, is no more than a term of convenience, a "words mean whatever we want them to mean" fabrication.  
    The dismissal of business and contract law now being shown by President Hussein just builds on a disregard for law that we conservatives already permitted.
