The one person screaming "I've been denied my right to vote" gets the newspaper ink, the television camera, and the attention of the NPR socialists.  Of course, (in recent years at least) once the investigation has taken place, a vast majority of these claims have proven to be unfounded regardless of where the claims have been made.

Meanwhile, poor little old me can potentially have my vote canceled out 200,000 times over.
