    General Motors has all but announced that they're filing for bankruptcy

    Ditto for Chrysler.

    I don't know about you, but the federal government's track record of balancing its books is dismal at best. As a matter of fact, the last time it ran in the black, Andrew Jackson was President.

    Do you really want them to run things when the federal government eventually nationalizes these companies?

    And then there's is also that nasty thing called the US Constitution that prohibits bills of attainder.

    Unless you're trying to tell me that Rep. Hoekstra is hopelessly ingorant of what's in the very same Constitution that he's sworn to uphold when taking office?
